Cinderella   DVD

Cinderella is retold respectfully and refreshingly for the new generation. The previous live-action films were all about style. They lacked substance and, unfortunately, heart. Cinderella, however, has style, substance and, most importantly, heart.  --amazon--

In Series 3, Phryne and Jack’s developing relationship is matched by the on-again, off-again romance of Phryne’s assistant, “Dot” Williams (Ashleigh Cummings, Tomorrow, When the War Began), and Jack’s constable, Hugh Collins (Hugo Johnstone-Burt, San Andreas). But with the unexpected arrival of her father in Australia, Phryne recalls troubling incidents from her past—and contends with ominous affairs in the present.  --amazon--

Paper towns    DVD

Not your typical teenage love story. I think this is a tale that a lot of people can relate to. Two kids who grow up together, grow apart, one popular, the other not, but in the end, life is not always as it seems. Paper Towns though definitely aimed at the younger crowd of today, crosses the generation barrier as the society gaps formed in public schools are something that every teenager has faced throughout the ages. I truly enjoyed it and think if you go into it with an open mind, you will also.   --amazon--

...Pitch Perfect 2 has a solid amount of humor, drama, and musical bravado. The 2nd act of the movie slows down, and some lines in the movie work, while other lines just don't(or feel too in vein of the original), but Pitch Perfect 2 is a enjoyable film due to the actors/actresses involved, the music, the humor, and the story which has a charming 3rd act.   --amazon--

Southpaw   DVD

Every element in Southpaw is ultra-recognizable. There is the athlete on top of the world who does not respect and control his craft, subsequently falls from grace, and then rises from the ashes, enlightened and enriched. There is the frequent contrasting of the promoter (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson), avaricious and flashy, with the hard-nosed, soulful trainer (an excellent Forest Whitaker). There is even an over-the-top antagonist our hero must fight by the end to complete his arc of redemption with a dash of...healing vengeance? Yes, the wheel is never threatened with reinvention here.  --amazon--

Water Diviner  DVD

Connor is an outback farmer and water diviner. ... His three sons go off to fight the Turks during the first World War and never return. His wife's dying wish was for her sons to be buried back in Australia. Working with few clues, Connor embarks on a trip where he is a hated stranger in a strange land, yet inspires and helps those around him. The opening claims it was "inspired by true events" but is closer to historical fiction....    --amazon--
